Notices to Mariners
Here, in conjunction with our sister site www.CrossingTheThamesEstuary.com, we are providing a unique Notices to Mariners service in which each week’s Admiralty NtMs are gathered together for you. We give a list of the charts affected, both those from the UKHO and from Imray, plus a note of their significance for leisure craft on the East Coast. We also provide links to NtMs originating from sources other than the UKHO - such as local harbour authorities. This makes ECS a ‘one stop shop’ for all your navigation and chart updates.

Chartlets
In this section we have links to downloadable chartlets for parts of the East Coast. Some of these are drawn for us by Imray, but many are the result of personal surveys by Roger Gaspar for his Crossing The Thames Estuary website. They provide detail useful to yachtsmen in areas where most charts are using old, outdated survey data.

Wind Farms
They’re growing fast and here we are trying to keep you posted on all the current activity to help you navigate safely around the work in progress.
